And mine as well, Croconilly. Testimonies are such wonderful reminders of what God did for all of us.

We get busy. We get distracted. And it is easy for us Christians to fall into the trap of complacency. Been there. Don't wanna be there.

Testimonies have a tendency to shake us out of that fog and fully appreciate, again, the wonderful grace of God and what He did for us.

Funny: its a good thing John Newton had such a word like 'wretch' to use in his hymn Amazing Grace. If he would have had to resort to using all that it describes it would have ruined the flow of the song, for sure! :)

I updated the post with a photo of the "Deaths: page in my Bible. I did that about 5 years ago.

God is truly awesome. He took a total wretch*, heading for hell and saved him. Amazing Grace.

*I tried to think of a one word description for a lying, thieving, blaspheming, parent dishonoring, covetious aldulterer at heart that hated the true God while you worshiped at the feet of a god of your creation, never spending time to even learn about God, all the while harboring hate for your fellow man, making you a murderer.
