Sometimes, it doesn't take much to get people thinking about the gospel outside of church on a Sunday morning.

One event, two crosses, a six word gospel, a  few thousand people going by, a half an hour spent and you're done.

If the Lord has been pressing on your heart to be a witness for him in public and/or just starting, this is an easy way in: holding a cross at a city event. Be prepared to share the gospel and be encouraged whether you receive from passersby a thumbs up or a finger up. It means they have read the message on the cross and either way, they are thinking about it. Your mission complete. The rest in is the Lord's capable hands.

And as always, He gets all the glory!

  1. This is beautiful. Who knows what God did in the hearts of those runners through your six-word gospel! Thank you for sharing this and encouraging others.

  2. That's why we're here on this blog, Charlene. And, yes, we trust that our simple presence there planted seeds and also watered seeds that have already been planted. God will do the harvesting and separate the chaff from the wheat in His time and for His sovereign purpose. Thank you for your kind words, sister. Blessings to you and your family. :)

  3. Another great opportunity taken advantage of for the Glory of God!! Lovin the background as Pastor Bob preaches!!

  4. Right you are, brother. And, yes, what a blessing it is for us to be able to sit under the faithful, powerful and expository preaching of Pastor Bob. We do not take him for granted nor the ways in which God works through him to preach the gospel as he does.
